Matt Luff claimed his first podium of his Ginetta Junior career as he was promoted to the podium after collisions during the race.
The former 2-time Sodi World Champion drove one of his greatest races, as he stormed through the pack from 8th place on the grid to finish 4th in tricky weather conditions. However after a judicial review, it was deemed that 3rd place Louie Foster had driven in a dangerous manner and Luff was therefore promoted.
A podium caps what has been an impressive improvement from the Richardson Racing driver, who towards the end of last season struggled to find the pace after having to switch teams mid-season. Yet this year his talent has started to shine through, and minus a few unfortunate and unlucky weekends, Matt would quite easily be battling for a top 5 in the championship.
With the next rounds of the Ginetta circus heading to Rockingham, Matt Luff will be hoping to add to his impressive accomplishments this season with more trophies.
